June was another exciting month at kin and it absolutely flew by! As summer is now in full swing, it was nice to sit down and reflect on everything that happened for our team and clients over the last month.
– This month we continued to see influencer sharing for ongoing client Superflux Beer Company to celebrate the launch of their new permanent patio at their brewery. We’ve seen video content go live in support of the opening, including videos from @vancityeats and @katgao. We also saw video content from @kasieleejay and @i_am_miss_jen who recently visited the Superflux {Cabana} patio in Victoria, BC.
– To celebrate the launch of our client Sandhill’s 2022 Rosé, we coordinated paid influencer partnerships to stir up some excitement about the new wine! We were thrilled to see content go live this month from creators including @paigeowenphoto, @emilyyew.co, @baelindalee and @breanneallarie! This Rosé is available for purchase from Sandhill, BC Liquor Stores and other retailers in BC.
– We continued to see some excellent coverage for our client Erwin’s Fine Baking including an interview with CTV Morning Live Vancouver, CFJC Kamloops and a great response to a TikTok video that went viral and generated over 59.4k views!
– This month we supported Oliver winery Tinhorn Creek on a project basis to help promote their 30th anniversary concert featuring Steven Page. In June, we saw coverage in the Vancouver Sun, Kelowna Now, The Daily Courier among others. – Our long-standing clients Ricky’s and Humpty’s both have Canada Day promotions featuring drool-worthy O’ Canada pancakes offered for a limited-time only that we’ve promoted throughout June. We partnered with foodie-influencers in key markets to help spread the word including Bite of Calgary and Wandering in YYC, who each hosted giveaways on their page.
– Did someone say Bubbles? Client Peller Estates recently launched a new sparkling wine, Secco Bubbles. This month we saw content from paid influencer partnerships go live that we coordinated in support of this launch including videos from @yesmissy, @allstylelife, @urbansizzle, @stephencovic, and @katherinewants. Find this new summer sipper at the LCBO, The Wine Shop, and online.
– We kicked off another year of Monstercat Compound, a free block party produced by the Vancouver-based independent electronic record label Monstercat taking place in Vancouver, BC on Saturday, August 26th from 2pm-9pm at Monstercat HQ in Railtown (Railway and Dunlevy streets). This month we saw coverage about the event in Curiocity, Dance Music Northwest, and Daily Hive Vancouver. If you’re in Vancouver you won’t want to miss this, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever.
– We kicked things off with our newest Social Media Management client, ABC Country Cranbrook where we presented our Brand Positioning, Social Media Strategy and launch plan for the Cranbrook restaurant – stay tuned!
– This month we celebrated agency director Claire’s 6-year work anniversary.
– And last but not least, we celebrated 1 year since our rebrand of kin at our annual team retreat in Sechelt, BC where the team enjoyed 3 days of connecting, learning and having fun. More to come on our first retreat as kin!
