Stripped Wax Bar is an award-winning hair-removal salon that provides waxing services at five locations across the Lower Mainland. Leading the way as one of the first Beauty Safe Certified waxing establishments in Vancouver, Stripped puts safety is at the forefront of everything they do. Stripped Lab, the company’s in-house product line, has grown to include down-there care products and aftercare essentials to keep skin feeling fresh and smooth. In 2020, Stripped launched their first at-home waxing kit, complete with all the tools needed for a salon-quality wax right at home.
Stripped contracted kin for support on social media management, strategic planning and content creation beginning in 2018. In 2020, kin supported Stripped in a brand refresh, including a new visual direction and pivot to focus on expanding the brand beyond the British Columbia borders.
- Managed influencer outreach to 20+ targeted recipients based in Ontario, including delivery of the Iconic Microwaveable Waxing Kit, and strategic, thoughtful follow-ups to build relationships and brand awareness on the east coast.
- Developed monthly content calendars featuring both original photography and carefully curated user generated content.
- Created and executed a new visual direction for the brand, with a focus on modern product photography and creative flat-lays.
- Shifted content focus to Instagram Stories and Reels to better reach Stripped Inc.’s target market: Millennials and Generation Z.
- Executed a month-long digital advertising campaign to build brand awareness in October 2020 which generated 378K impressions and 2,028 link clicks.
- Stripped Inc.’s Instagram Stories saw over 130k impressions between October 2020-March 2021.
